Raymond Urbain Levi-Strauss

Born in France at the end of the XIX century, Levi-Strauss became a prolific painter and participated in numerous salons between 1905 and 1921. He excelled in genre painting and landscapes, and often went to the south of France, attracted by its light and its lush foliage that became a constant source of inspiration to the artist.
